Executive Director

Agnes Naa Morkor Davis

Agnes is a Ghanaian-born American citizen, a devoted mother and a proud retired US Army veteran. With a strong background in cybersecurity, alongside her service in the United States Army, she has given her life to service and continuous learning.

She holds several degrees in logistics and procurement, and is still studying today, a lifelong pursuit of learning and growth.

Deeply rooted in African and Ghanaian culture, Agnes sees the Black Star Festival as a pivotal moment for reconnecting the world and the diaspora with its heritage, and a renewed source of identity and pride for people of Ghana and African descent everywhere.

To her, it’s more than a celebration. It’s a bridge between past, present and future.
